This is a PowerPoint blog for sure! Then why are we seeing Word article? Well, the reason why we are doing this article today has a small story and it goes like this — I had to work on a big word document that has almost 160 pages and there was a need to link some words with other pages inside the document. I am not familiar with Microsoft Word as I am familiar with PowerPoint, so I googled a lot on this issue but found very less information but in the end, it was a success. So how can we link pages inside a document? And the answer is bookmarked, keep reading…
Let’s say I have a document that has 10 or 17 pages and in the document, there is some text that you want to link up with the other parts of the same document, so how do we do it?
First, navigate to the page that has the related content or the page that you want to link
Now select the top or any section of the page by selecting the text
Next, go to the Insert > Bookmark, this will open a Bookmark window, just type in the name of the bookmark no more 9 words and then click Add.
Now scroll to the page where you need to link this and select the text
Once you’ve selected the text, go to Bookmark and select the bookmark you’ve created and click on Go To
Now when you open your document in reader view or export it as PDF you will be able to click the bookmarked text and see the program take to the linked page just like we experience in websites.
So, this simple is how you link pages inside word using Bookmarks. If you didn’t follow the article post your comments so we can help you up. We will be adding a video on this subject very soon
