The way you present the content on slides matters, the more pleasing the design is — the more attention it gets. And making this process more simpler we are going to explore various ways of arranging or creating creative content on daily basis(everyday) starting from today.
In today’s post we are going to be explore unique method of creating creative content slide such as the one below.
The above picture that you see is a slide we created in PowerPoint. This is not a template neither its a picture placeholder or anything. Its just a blank layout with a picture and a shape. Read on, to explore how we did it.
Step 1: Open PowerPoint and Select Blank Presentation and Set the Layout to Blank
Step 2: Insert the picture and scale it to fit the height of the slide and make sure the edge of the picture snaps with the one edge of the slide.
Step 3: Go to Insert > Shapes > and select Pie shape and then insert on the slide.
Step 4: Re-size the shape and rotate until it looks the figure belows
Step 5: Now its time to remove the excess stuff, but before you do that, select the picture and press CTRL+C on keyboard. After that select the shape first and then the picture, go to Format > Merge Shapes > Intersect. The picture will disappear as it merges with the shape but don’t worry its still safe in your clipboard
Step 6: Press Ctrl +V on your keyboard, this will paste the picture on your slide, right click on the picture and select send to back
Step 7: Select the shape and fill it with the color that matches with the slide background and set the shape outline to no fill.
Step 8: To insert the text, select Insert from the ribbon & then select Text Box, click on the slide and start typing your text. Place the text on the solid color area.
So, This is one of the easy ways to create slide content more intuitive, as this contains picture with supporting text to please the eye of the audience.
